The Righteous!

The Righteous Shall Flourish: Lessons P1 from the Book of Ps 92:12-14 – THE RIGHTEOUS!
“The Righteous shall flourish like the Palm Tree: he shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon” (Psalms 92:12). That is the Focal Scripture for Today.

From the Scripture above, the Psalmist gave a description of the Man that shall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon, that man was described as “THE RIGHTEOUS”. So, this wasn’t just a free blessing; it was a blessing with a condition of righteousness. The one who would grow like the Cedar in Lebanon was first called “The Righteous.”

Who is Righteous? The Righteous is one who is in right standing with God. Righteousness is not about being religiously accomplished. It is about having a deep personal walk with the Lord that manifest in your daily works. It’s a life of ‘Total Surrender’ to the will and dictates of God. It is also about a continuous yearning to fulfill God’s desire in all you do. Please note also, that Righteousness is not about being good; it is about allowing Divinity to live out the righteousness of Christ in you.

Beloved, in this season, hear God’s counsel; righteousness will help you grow like a Cedar in Lebanon. Righteousness will enable you to reign radiantly. A life devoid of sin will open the doors of increase to you. As you walk in Righteousness, you will witness amazing increase. You will attain lasting greatness.

God may have allowed you make some progress despite your sin; now, imagine how much progress you will achieve if you stay away from sin. Imagine how far you will go if you keep a clean slate.

Proverbs 16:12 captures it succinctly, it says, “It is an abomination to Kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness. The Lasting Crown you will enjoy this season and beyond forbids you from living in sin. The radiant reign calls for holiness. I beseech you brethren to discard every association that reinforces sin in your life.

Pray with me, “Lord, please help me to live righteously all the days of my life, and may I be established in righteousness in Jesus name.” Amen!

Have a Blessed Friday!
